There was a time when specialty tractors for smaller scale vegetable farming were everywhere.  These vintage specialty tractors were well built and high quality workhorses, and fortunately for us, with a little extra research, can still be found.

Ours comes from Michigan, a 1948, Allis Chalmers "G" - a specially designed vegetable tractor that keeps us farmers up close and personal with our crops.

As you can see in the picture, the engine sits in the back, behind the driver, with the front end open so your farmers can see both the plants we're working with, and the tools we're operating.

Allis, or "GG" as we've started calling her, will get lots of use cultivating, seeding, and weeding all the fresh produce we've planned for the coming season!
